Throughout this year, our community has created projects that deserve to be seen.

To celebrate this work and give greater visibility to the talented designers who are part of the Aprender Design community, we're launching the first edition of the Aprender Design Portfolio Competition, in partnership with Readymag, a design tool for creating websites of all kinds.

This is an opportunity to showcase your work, strengthen your portfolio, and be part of a selection that highlights some of the best projects created by Aprender Design students.

Who can participate

The competition is open exclusively to current and former Aprender Design students. Spots are limited.

Evaluation criteria

Portfolios will be reviewed jointly by the Aprender Design and Readymag teams based on the following criteria:

  • Design
  • Content
  • Responsiveness
  • Accessibility

We will be looking for portfolios that demonstrate strong visual quality, clear project presentation, a seamless experience across different devices, and thoughtful accessibility practices.

Joining the Aprender Design team on the jury is Catalina Risso - designer, Readymag Ambassador, and Education Advisor - who will help select the winning portfolios.

Awards

The top ten winning portfolios will receive:

  • One year of the Readymag Freelance plan for free;
  • 30% off Aprender Design short courses;
  • Exclusive merchandise from both Readymag and Aprender Design.

In addition to these prizes, the winning portfolios will be featured across Aprender Design's communication channels, giving participants greater visibility within our community and across the design industry.

Portfolio Review: September 1 – September 30
